Hundreds of thousands of teens have a job throughout high school, but few are aware of all the potential dangers that exist at their workplace. Despite proper training and orientation, oversites still exist, and that is why the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries is touring the state, raising awareness about this problem.
We're looking for aspiring media professionals who know how to tell a good story about health and safety. The 2013 Workplace Safety video contest needs you to submit your best one minute video about youth workplace health, safety or both.
What do I have to do?Just fill out the entry form, read the rules, grab a camera and get shooting! The entry form is available at the upper left corner of this page. That's it! The rest is up to you. Be creative.
